|MACOM introduces a New 3 Stage Driver Amplifier for use in 18-23 GHz point-to-point radios for cellular backhaul applications. With low DC power consumption, this amplifier boasts the exceptional linearity and gain typically needed for 18GHz and 23GHz microwave transmitter lineups.
The MAAM-011132 is an excellent solution for customers designing PtP radios that require a gain stage in the TX lineup to meet the intermodulation requirements at high power levels and the gain control dynamic range. This driver covers the 18GHz and 23GHz PtP bands and provides the required gain and linearity when used in conjunction with the typical Upconverter and Power Amplifier MMIC products available from MACOM. It achieves this performance with the lowest DC power consumption on the market therefore reducing overall cost of supplying DC power and associated heat-sinking.
